Project: Vitality Sports Rehab Clinic

What I Did: The goal of this project was to create a company establish an identity for it. I created the logo, business cards, letterheads and finally I created the website for it. In this project I learned how to manage large projects a lot better than I could have imagined; from not only the creation side but also sending invoices and managing time sheets.

Hooray It’s a Real Post

Posted: Sunday, July 22nd, 2007

I’ve started redesigning my site in WordPress recently and have grown tired of working with lorem ipsum. Then I thought, what could be better than a real post? So even though it isn’t done yet, I still feel the need to write something besides that darned lipsum. So… hmm.. what to talk about… How about my recent graduation from Platt College. I made it in and out of there in a few years and managed to graduate before my 21st birthday. Not to shabby eh?

Pownce

For a while now there has been rumors flying around that Digg’s Keven Rose has a new project that he’s been working on. Some major blog sites were trying to figure it out but he kept it to himself and allowed nothing to surface. On June 27th he finally went public with the project. It’s called Pownce. It’s a web based sharing network with an optional desktop client for advanced features.

So far it has been mostly compared to Twitter, which shares the same basic concept as Pownce. When I compared the two the first thing that I noticed is that Pownce has a cleaner/better looking interface. (more…)

Reflection.js 1.6

Posted: Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

Reflection.js is a script that allows you to easily add reflections to images throughout your webpage. The best part is that it is unobtrusive so your code can still stay squeaky clean. It works in all major browsers - Internet Explorer 5.5+, Mozilla Firefox 1.5+, Opera 9+ and Safari. The coolest part about it is that it’s less than 5kb! The script is also easy to modify; you can change the opacity and height of the reflection with ease. To apply it you simply add class=”reflect” to your image and voila! Easy reflections that you didn’t have to create yourself in photoshop. If you want to see how an image looks try out Reflectomatic.
